What attracted you to working at LX Concept?
âWhat attracted me most to working at LX Concept is the unique combination of location and the variety of work. The office is located outside the busy city centre, and it feels great to have a workplace that feels like home. Additionally, I love the variety in the work â the opportunity to work on both digital and physical projects, such as graphic design, web projects, displays, and Point of Sale (POS) â makes every day different. That variety keeps things exciting and allows me to develop my talents in different ways. You grow here at a fast pace.â
Favourite quote from Het Eiland (a popular Flemish TV series)?
“Hoe kan da, hoe komt da, en hoe gade gij dat oplossen?“

What do you find most appealing in your new role?
âWhat I find most appealing in my new role is the close collaboration with colleagues. It feels motivating to be part of a tight-knit team where you can exchange ideas, inspire each other, and create something beautiful together. The process of brainstorming, designing, and ultimately bringing a project to life together makes the work so much more rewarding.â
âAdditionally, I find it amazing to see my digital designs eventually realised physically. Thereâs something magical about transforming an idea on a screen into a tangible end result, whether itâs a print design, a spatial concept, or something else. Itâs that transformation from abstract to concrete that gives my work meaning and makes me proud of what we create.â
Projects Paul has already worked on.
What skills or interests do you bring to this team?
âI bring my skills as a product designer, along with my enthusiasm to learn new things and dive into work with full energy. Additionally, I have knowledge of 3D design and VR/AR, which Iâm excited to use to add value to the team.â

What does a typical workday look like for you?
âEvery morning, I start by preparing my lunch and getting ready to leave for work. After that, I cycle 12 km to work â a lovely moment to clear my head and start the day calmly. Once I arrive, I quickly have breakfast, and then I get to work. My workday begins by preparing for the daily meeting: I review my own projects, note down any questions, and make sure I have a clear overview of my tasks. During the meeting, everyone has the opportunity to speak, which always ensures a good start and alignment within the team.â
âThen, I dive into designing for various clients and media. What I love is that no two days are the same â whether itâs a digital design, a print job, or something else, thereâs always variety. During lunch, I take some time to relax and recharge, after which I continue working on creative projects. I often also focus on the social media and communication for LX Concept, which is a nice change within my tasks.â
âAfter a productive day, I cycle the same 12 km back home. Itâs a nice moment to let everything go, so that when I get home, I can truly relax.â
What do you enjoy doing in your free time when you're not being creative?
âWhen Iâm not being creative, I enjoy going to cafĂ©s with friends. Itâs a nice way to be social and relax in good company. I also love longboarding and playing cafĂ© games. I enjoy hiking in nature, searching for various mushrooms. Discovering new places and enjoying fresh air helps me clear my mind and recharge.â
If you had to describe yourself as a font, which one would it be and why?
âIf a font were to describe me, it would be Raleway. Itâs an elegant and calm typeface that effortlessly adapts to different situations â it reflects my creative and open personality effortlessly.â
âMoreover, the name âRalewayâ perfectly aligns with my greatest passions: slow travel and discovering the world.â
Whatâs number one on your bucket list?
âI want to visit every country in the world by travelling slowly. No airplanes or fast routes, but travelling by train, car, boat, bike, or even on foot. Itâs not just about the destination, but especially about the journey itself. By travelling this way, I really want to take the time to experience the cultures, people, and landscapes without a jetlag.â
