Saeco, a brand of Philips, is known for high-quality espresso machines that combine Italian craftsmanship with Philips' technology. Their machines guarantee ease of use, customisation, and the authentic taste of freshly ground coffee beans.

With user-friendly devices, Saeco offers the perfect coffee experience at home, from espresso to cappuccino.

POS & Display

The question

LX Concept was approached with the task of developing displays and POS materials to support the launch of a range of Saeco coffee machines.

We took on this challenge with great enthusiasm. With our expertise in design and retail communication, we immediately got to work to come up with creative and functional solutions that perfectly align with the premium look of Saeco products.

This was related to five Saeco coffee machines.

Displays

For the displays, the aim was to develop shelf displays that could be used in various locations throughout the store. The displays needed to be the same size and modular, so that all devices, along with the required spec cards, would fit neatly.

As with every design process, we begin with a few rough sketches.

3D models

We also always create 3D models, which is useful for visualising and presenting designs. This supports clear communication and helps us carefully plan every detail, ensuring smooth and high-quality production and assembly.

Production & assembly

To ensure smooth and hassle-free assembly, we not only developed detailed 3D models, but also included a manual that is provided in the box.

Speccards

Each display had to include a spec card with information about the device displayed on the display.

The spec cards not only contain the product number but also the various recipes of the machine and several features.

Wobblers

An effective way to indicate which devices can be tested in demo mode and which cannot is by using wobblers. These wobblers provide clear information on how to use each device in demo mode.

Promo materials

To promote the launch of the coffee machines and add an extra dimension to your machine and coffee, we created a book. This book not only offers inspiration and tips to bring your quality coffee to life but also provides extensive information on different types of coffee.
