Meet Clara (or Cla, for the insiders), our new junior project manager. She grew up in the rural village of Boutersem and now lives with her loyal companion Kastaar, an energetic Australian Labradoodle who keeps her company on nature walks. Clara has a heart for stories in all forms, whether it’s through a good book, a captivating series or a movie classic like Shrek 2. With her love for structure, soft fonts (yes, Calibri is allowed) and well organised planning, she brings a balanced mix of calm, enthusiasm and organisational talent to our team.
What do you hope to learn from LX Concept and why did you choose LX?
“Everything you can’t learn from a book as a project manager: the practice. How to coordinate a project from A to Z, how to switch smoothly between creative teams and clients, and how to always stay one step ahead of what’s coming. That dynamic immediately appealed to me. What really convinced me to choose LX is the combination of creativity and structure. It’s a place where ideas come to life, but with the right amount of control and professionalism. And yes, the connection was there from the very first moment.”
What should we really know about you beyond your CV? Or what do you enjoy doing most in your free time?
“Outside of work and projects I love clearing my head. The best way to do that is with a book in hand, a long walk with Kastaar or a cosy evening with friends. Whenever possible I like to plan a weekend getaway to break the routine and recharge. Oh, and I try to do pilates regularly, and every now and then I even go for a run.”
Which songs or artists would you immediately add to our office playlist?
“If I had to choose one band that definitely belongs on the LX Concept playlist, it would be Arctic Monkeys. Their songs are a staple on my own playlist, so I hope I can soon convince the rest of the team to sing along.”
€5 million or dinner with Jay-Z? You get to meet one creative or strategic great from history, from a visionary architect to a fictional CEO. Who would you choose to sit down with, and what insights would you hope to take away for your own projects?
“€5 million sounds tempting, but I’d still choose a conversation with Einstein. I’d love to know how he would view the world today, what he would come up with in this digital era, how he would approach complex problems and what insights he might unconsciously share that I could apply in my work as a project manager. Sometimes the difference lies in simply thinking differently.”
