Meet Warre, graphic and motion designer

We’re excited to introduce Warre, graphic and motion designer from the LX team! 🎉

No time to read it all? No worries, we’ve got a video too.

What attracted you to working at LX Concept?

“The portfolio immediately caught my attention: strong brands, visually polished projects, and a clear focus on quality. What appealed to me most was the chance to experience the full process from concept and design to production. That mix of creativity and execution isn’t something you find everywhere. I was also drawn to LX Concept’s broad range of services, from branding to packaging to exhibition stands. That variety keeps you learning and growing as a designer.”

What do you do when you’re out of inspiration?

“When I have a hard time getting started, I look for some visual input. Pinterest, design books or previous work can quickly get me going. But what helps me most is simply starting. I create several versions of one design, each with small variations. By actively designing and experimenting, new ideas naturally emerge. That approach keeps me from getting stuck and helps me draw inspiration from the process itself. Design is doing.”

Which style appeals to you the most?

“I feel most drawn to modernism, especially Bauhaus and the Swiss style. During art history classes, those movements immediately resonated with me and they’ve had a lasting influence on the way I design. Think clean sans serif fonts, working with grid systems, geometric shapes and plenty of white space. Every element in a design should have a clear purpose, decoration just to fill empty space doesn’t fit within my design philosophy. Form follows function.”

If you were a color, which one would you be and why?

“Red, without a doubt. It’s the color of passion and of Standard de Liège of course. But what fascinates me most is how ambiguous red can be, it represents both love and aggression, warmth and warning. In design it’s a powerful tool. You use it to draw attention, signal urgency or evoke an emotional response. Red is never neutral. It stands out, divides opinion and leaves an impression, exactly what I aim to achieve in my designs.”

Do you ever experiment with AI or other new techniques?

“Absolutely. AI has become an integral part of the design process, including mine. I use it daily, mainly large language models to quickly generate alternative perspectives on a briefing. It helps me challenge and refine my own ideas. In tools like Photoshop, I use AI for image corrections or fine-tuning details, always with the final result in mind. There are often several ways to solve something, and it’s up to the designer to choose the right technique. That’s exactly why I find it essential to keep experimenting with new technology.”

“It not only makes your work more efficient but also improves its quality and keeps it future oriented.”

Which brand would you like to rebrand?
And why?

“X, the former Twitter, is begging for a visual revival. Its current identity feels heavy and dark, which to me perfectly matches the negative atmosphere on the platform” 😁.

“As a designer, I’d go back to the original Twitter DNA and translate it into a fresh, contemporary look. Lighter shades of blue, a secondary accent color for more visual dynamism, and typography that feels softer and more human. Less corporate, more community. With a redesigned logo, a warmer interface and more breathing space in the design, I’d make the platform feel accessible again, both visually and in spirit.”

Do you have a design pet peeve, something that really bothers you?

“Not using layers. In tools like Illustrator or Photoshop, that’s pure chaos. Without layers, you lose oversight, work inefficiently and make things harder for your colleagues. Structure isn’t a luxury, it’s essential.”

How would you describe yourself within LX Concept?

“GOAT. Okay, no just kidding. (NOT 😉 )”
