Stand out in the market
Belinus is a Belgian solar panel brand with its headquarters in Genk, near Energyville. The company started in 2015 as a service provider for the engineering and quality inspection of solar panels and expanded on that knowledge to develop its own solar panels. The solar panels are designed in Belgium. Thanks to a combination of the best possible technologies and components, they are among the most efficient on the market.
Solar panels in 3D
At the beginning of the collaboration between LX Concept and Belinus, there were no materials we could use in our designs. Instead of going the traditional route and choosing photos, we opted for 3D recreations of the panels. The advantage is significant: you can replicate each panel in detail and view them, rendering all panels at exactly the same angle. You can choose a different perspective at any time, for example, for a social media post, and instead of depending on a photographer, lighting, and other variable factors, you can just quickly render it.
Event materials
One of the further questions was the creation and production of event materials. The first request was for Xpo Kortrijk: a large back wall and a few roll-up banners. Furthermore, we created variants of these roll-ups for other smaller fairs. Finally, we designed a complete event booth for a fair in Düsseldorf.
Paper and printing
For a new emerging company, it's important to maintain consistency across various derivatives and touchpoints between the customer and your brand. That's why we rolled out their brand via new business cards and transport folders. The finishing we chose for this was spot-UV coating: a thicker transparent layer over the image of the solar panel gives a glossy finish.
The datasheets are highly technical files about their solar panels. Here, our 3D renders are integrated on the front. We also translated them into 4 languages and produced them.
A range overview contains the same data as the datasheets, but all condensed onto 1 page to maintain the overview.
Custom made gadgets
To further make the style and branding of Belinus recognizable, we designed and produced some custom made gadgets that would further stimulate their recognition.
Belinus came to us with the request to design and produce a sample pouch to showcase the technology they possessed to the customer. In this felt pouch, they could place a sample of their solar panel. This is a custom-made pouch.
